Third party payroll at FAANG?

CW role at Meta can have its own curveballs in particular given the current climate. If you don’t have any plans of staying back beyond an year then yes go for it.

I'd say it could be better to transition from InMobi to a company between it and FAANGs in brand value.

Something like Flipkart, Walmart, PhonePe. They're bigger brands than InMobi and would be a good addition to your CV. You can then transition to FAANG roles.

I see the following cons with this move?:

• You'll miss out on benefits like stock, good internal opportunities, good insurance etc.
• If you become a contractor there's some risk in you being seen as a contractor even for your next transition imo.
• It's super easy for them to lay you off and chances of a layoff are high too.

Check market conditions before making a headway to FAANG. Choppy waters currently. Don't jump out without a life boat ⛵
