This interview made my life better!
I remember coming across the entire interview 4-5 years ago, sharing a small snippet below
Chamath is relatable because he also comes from nowhere, and has had a phenomenal career. But the way he puts his thought process across.
The way he explains that it’s a skewed world, but here’s what you can do to do well in it.
I know there’s ways to criticise this approach. My commie friends would. But soaking it in, acting on it, was one of the things that mattered. I keep coming back to it and hope it adds value to your day/week/life.

Unfortunately It's not that easy. The game is rigged. Less than 0.001% make it to having that kind of power, and all the odds are against you.
Best to be stoic, keep to yourself, live a happy life

He speaks too well Any of his interviews or when he is on all in podcast
Even when he's shilling Tesla on CNBC :p
Great share

Every con artist is a smooth talker. See this https://youtube.com/shorts/_ysfBIXc06c?si=EwEY6Hw9wc6BikHu

If I am not wrong, he was the one who actually came up with “growth” at Facebook in general which lead to what we see “growth product” or “growth marketing” etc… pls correct me if I am wrong..

One of the greatest videos I saw early on

Although man has some controversial views but absolutely look up to his journey - insane from civil war in Sri Lanka to Facebook to Social Capital, he’s done crazy work at FB
Would highly recommend checking out the all-in pod for folks who haven’t already done so - really good stuff (can skim through some parts since lots of focus on US politics)

Mr pump and dump

No one makes a case for capitalism like Chamath does. Escaping Sri Lanka early on to go to Canada and then US to become an early employee at Facebook and eventually a Billionaire

Yeah I've met him a few times in Waterloo when i was building my 2nd startup, that man is just something else. He's aggresive about his VC and extreme sharp with his thoughts and his words. He's the kinda guy I'd like to have a demeanor in terms of work and finances. He may not be a great person tho otherwise, just purely based on my conversations.
