To DINKS or even single folks who’ve decided not to have kids.

Tbh I see no cons except it may get lonely when you are old if you don't have a proper support system of family and friends.

Everything else seems like a pro which makes me question why people even have kids.

Family and friends won't care for you in old age though, they'll be having their own problems by that time. It's actually a big factor imo.

There is only one con that i see - have to see my parents never becoming grandparents (maternal).
But, glad I have a brother.

No cons yet. I can wake up at 830 and start work by 9. I can splurge on hobbies. When I want company I head out and meet people. When I want solitude I have it. None of the fears have played out, all of the pluses are there as I'd imagined.

Me and my wife are happy without children. She doesn't want it and nor do I. There doesn't have to be pro and con in everything. I love bikes but I don't like Yamaha. It's just a choice. There's no pros and cons about it. Stop listening to your parents. They're unaware what it means to bring a child in this world today

Cons there will be no one in future to bother about us..!

Any DINK couples in their 40s? How do you really feel?

Dual Income and No Kids sounds very attractive but advice from people in their late 20s and 30s is probably too biased to be considered sound advice.

Wanted to understand how couples who took that decision in their 30s feel today.
