Train street dogs to pick up litter?
So recently while I was in the shower, I was just thinking how our streets are littered with so much trash, and how can we clean it up. It just occurred to me if we could train animals to clean up litter, for example monkeys or dogs, in return for treats (food). Given that stray street dogs are more common in India, is it possible to train them and have them collect trash and place it in something like a dustbin nearby?
This way the dogs get taken care of, and the streets are also kept clean.
I'm sure the idea might sound weird, but I'm just thinking out loud and would like to know the pros and cons of this method.

Maybe train them to chase people who litter (not bite. Just chase)

😄😄😄 correct

I dunno how that works practically. If they complain the dogs night get neutralized. Also no point of dogs running behind motorbikes, as many dump using bikes and ride away.
Instead any idle dogs could be trained to pick up litter for the time being. Of course if our fellow country men had some civic sense, none of this would be required.

That is sad. Humans turn nature into waste. And we are thinking of dogs to clean that waste. Next step? We should train dolphins to clean the sea garbage 😟. Already animals pe lab me experiments hote hai. They get killed for fur, body parts and whatever. Only humans can think of "using" their best friends.

I understand where you're coming from. But in my imagination there's no cruelty involved. Instead doggos who don't have a home will have a shelter and be taken care of well. I would reject anything that would cause animal cruelly outright.

You can train Pavlov’s dog to attack those who litter

Ye sab batein bathroom mein hi Kyu aati hai? 🤣

Stray Dogs Problem
Has anyone noticed the ever increasing stray dogs in India? Beaches, Hills, Cities literally everywhere. Have stopped morning walks due to this. Has anyone found a workable solution for this?
