Wanted to know if I stay in FW validation domain what would be my forward career paths?

Currently working at a SSD Manufacturing company as a Validation Engineer. This is my first job right after college(Bachelors from T1.5 college), been in this role for 2 years now, and I can already feel the stagnation that most people talk about. I have a basic idea of what my options are from scouring all sources of info on my domain.

Have worked on EVERYTHING from a sys arch point of view in validation automation. Have also worked on implementing major automation changes to improve parameters like DUT utilisation, checkout time, etc. Apart from this I have a good understanding of All kinds of specs used, how all the processes work on a client SSD, basic understanding of extra features that the enterprise SSDs have. Remaining is the NAND/ONFI/PMIC/and other supporting ICs(analog ones) is where my knowledge is lacking as of now. Also I am VERY fluent in multiple programming languages/Software engineering, can shift to software role immediately if this job doesn't pan out the way I want it to in next 3 years. Current salary is in the range of 20-25 lpa base. Where should I focus my time to have a good growth curve? I was considering trying to move to a more research oriented team within the same company (perks/work quality everything is great so prefer not to switch company, but open to switching companies also). Wanted some advice from experienced people who do not work in the same office as me!
