What are some of the best money management apps you have used ?

Apps which give you a summary of your overall expenses including irrespective of modes of payment(cards, bank accounts etc)

Axio guys keep spamming on sms for loans. They got the number from Amazon Pay accounts and are just not leaving me now

Wallet by Budgetbakers I’m able to connect to my bank account and all my credit cards

But planning to switch to Fold Money fully when they add support for credit cards.

Why do you wanna do that ?

Wallet is great but since it’s by a small european company, connecting to indian banks can be wonky sometimes (and lesser known banks may be unsupported). Also, their support is pretty slow. But imo it’s still the best PFM out there for indians today. Hoping to switch to Fold once it reaches a similar level just because I expect their bank connections to be more stable.

Maintaining everything on spreadsheet, including stocks and MFs. Google has its own function to get scrip data which gets update everyday. For MFs, you can import data from amfii.com automatically which can then be utilised to check your daily MF value. Similar thing for NPS as well. Only thing which now remains is getting bank balance which I update manually. Have been using this system for more than 5 years without intervention of other application

If you don't mind manually entering all your expenses, try Monefy.. buy the pro version and spend some time exploring all the options, it's worth it.

I don't wanna sound like a sales man but this app makes it pretty easy to manually enter, they have lots of customisations, widgets etc. A pretty neat looking pie chart kinda thing.. have a look. Also if you use credit cards, then most of the credit cards have a "Merchant category code" for each expense. maybe chat gpt can help you find an app that uses this feature. Or maybe you could ask it to make you an app?

Axio is best it reads your sms and then tells how much money you have spend on which category it's super good

My money is a great app. Very simple ui and doesn't expect any sorta linking to phones sms feed etc. Have to manually add in the entries but yeah it's good. Free and easy to use.
