Start up with most Toxic Work Culture
Can anyone share for the benefit of those who are keen to avoid making mistakes..
My first startup had a smoking zone where there was gramophone looking art piece where people used to dump their ashes. Later someone told me that it’s a Bluetooth speaker and no one cared to put it back after the party that happened two weeks back.
That was true culture shock.
Man, there was a startup which was offering employees salaries in crypto and many employees agreed to it too. Wonder what that money is today for employees
Polygon?
Tbh I have always gotten my salary in crypto. Been 6yrs now. You should just know when to sell it
My company used to hold pizza parties for all the employees - be in office or wfh. We used be on meetings and have virtual team lunch and dinners 😂 Secondly, we had this nice office event every alternate Friday where various personalities used to visit office to sing and perform, do comedy shows, etc and everything was stream live for wfh people.

Edtech companies spend 200 rupees to earn 100 rupees.
Cred spends 700Rs to earn 100rs!
That's sheer stupidity.
Car/bike if you join- Bharatpe :)
Wasn't that just a marketing stunt, with bond terms of 9-12 months tied to perks. With such toxic culture people used to leave within that time
Heard Ashneer’s take on this issue on some podcast. Basically he replaced the hiring agencies and directly reached out to the candidates and offered them the perks.
As per him it didn’t cost him anything as anyways he had to pay the firm for the recruitment.
Smart if you ask me.
Hire lots of people without setting up processes and then leave it to the older folks to manage them

I imagine it wasn’t a deep enough use case to get monetised. Unfortunate to see a startup shut down :/
