Hiring for sap consultant roles is a function of various factors. that being said you can go upto 150% increament if the new client you will be working with is in the same industry vertical and same geo as your other projects. SAP consultant salaries esp. on the functional sode after 5+ years is about specialization within a specific industry vertical and number of on-site deployments. Also, your salary depends on the end-client's homebase ie is the client in usa, india, eu etc. Also, another variable in pay negotiation is the criticality of the resource wrt the project i.e has the project been awarded?, is the project in the prep phase or blueprinting or deployment phase. the closer to deployment more the pressure on rmg teams to onboard the consultant faster but in terms of learning and onsite opportunities its always better to join during the pre prep phase. hope this helps
