This is an entrepreneur mindset. That's how a business owner thinks and works. If the company does well, the CEO will get millions in stock dividend every quarter. So it's acceptable and only fair to think about work all the time.
But Nvidia founder doesn't preach this to his employees. He doesn't say that "You have to work like me". He's just talking about what he does everyday, thats it. This is in no way similar to what Infy founder said.
NM's statement can be interpreted as "you have to work 70hours so that we can get richer and you can stay at the same level"
Yep, i agree with your comment
This is happening with me and I really don't want it to. I've been working in start-ups, I made a switch 2 months back - it's definitely a slower paced company with WLB. But I'm not yet able to get rid of work related thoughts.
Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.
It is not same as Murthy one
Here he said I WORK Murphy said YOUNGSTERS SHOULD WORK
We appreciate when people work hard, but not when they start preaching

At least they're being honest about their expectations. I don't know what to feel, they recruit from campus though.
● "70-Hour Workweeks and Peanuts" - It's Not Just "How Markets Work" Claiming that grueling work hours and low wages are intrinsic to free markets oversimplifies a complex issue. Capitalism should mean fair exchange, not exploitation.
