Dont do it.. they may be trying a get a jpb dobe thru thus for free. Give them a hint onbhow to approach the issue. Is it a start up?. Sab phokat mein chaiye innko... even if you do it. They may still not hire you. So risk reward is not in your favour.

Depends on what kind of assignment it is. If it's a full stack project or something, you can even put that in your "personal projects list" regardless of interview result. This will build a portfolio, and can be used in place of other org's tests.
