What should I do to not be left out without a job in recession?

I am an undergrad student in the 4th year of Computer science and engineering degree, I'm a bit worried about the current scenario where jobs are getting scarce. I would like some suggestions on what type of skills I should learn to keep up with the demands and what type of roles or companies I should aim for. And any other suggestions for getting an internship are welcome.

Jobs are moving from western countries to india, so you don't have to worry. Just leetcode and try finding interviews.

If possible, try for normal backend roles. They have the most openings.
