
What to do in life? Feeling aimless
I am 23M working in a well renowned Fintech startup. Have got what I have dreamed of in college like high ownership, good pay and other similar things. But lately realized that I can't do these things for my majority of life. Although I enjoy my work but still feeling lonely and aimless.
Previous to September it was remote but now they have made it hybrid and I have to reallocate to Gurgaon and now I am feeling more lonely and aimless in life.
Have tried travelling and other stuffs inorder to find interest in life but nothing excites me.

My man, you need a life vision for yourself.
Do a simple excercise: Imagine your life a few yours years out. What do you see?
Take a day off or a week and spend that time thinking and writing about this.
It's not the universes responsibility to hand out our purpose. It's ours. This is important and urgent.
If you don't know yet, it's fine. But after thinking a bit you should definitely know something for what you want in any of the following areas: Family, friends, hobbies, health, studies.
Now if you see yourself playing badminton or romancing a partner or having a nice trip with your family or building your start-up 5 years out start doing it today. That's how you change your life. Otherwise it'll all be a distant dream.
IMO, Put in urgency and confidance to whatever your vision with some realism and humility is and you'll go happy and far.

Life is nothing without its lows and highs. Please practice meditation to start with. And gratefulness.
Loneliness consumes you from the inside. If nothing you do really excites you anymore, and if you have tried, then I’d suggest going to therapy. By talking to people, you’ll only get a solution. A therapist will help you understand the root cause of your problem, which can give you better solutions.
It's okay. This happens with most of us. I would say this is because of our education system where we are provided and forced a curriculum and after it ends, we don't know what to do.
But anyway, i would suggest you to try out multiple fields of work and multiple mindsets and see which one works for you. Ex: if you are a backend software engineer, you can explore FE, devops, ML, or some non tech roles, etc. Along with this you can explore mindsets like self growth mindset, social impact mindset, career growth mindset, etc. Try combinations of them and see what works for you.
