What to do with the bike?

my friend got into an accident yesterday and now we are at the royal enfield service centre. They are estimating the insurance claim to be around 40k for the damages but they told us to pay the amount at the time of pick up and then we need to reimburse it. Is this the right process? I thought they billed directly to the insurance company.

If the insurance company is empanelled, then it becomes cashless. Else cash is then given to the car/bike/hospital and then you get reimbersement from the insurance company.

Also if you pay then, at the time of reimbursement, you don't get gst back. Keep this in mind and confirm it from dealer also.
