Funding winter but fintechs still warm
Is it only fintechs that are still hiring. I guess there is a hiring freeze across most of industries.
What's the scene with Indian FinTech companies, like Jupiter, Razorpay, Navi, Fi, Cashfree etc...
I see some of them have started hiring again, are they a good option to join?
Companies masquerading as digital banks/neo banks - (but in reality only providing good consumer interface on a partner bank licence and products) - No real business model as of now, won’t be big and layoffs will come. That covers your Jupiter and Fi money. payment gateways like Razorpay - some ways of making money and growing, opportunities to cross sell a lot of other products to merchants ,- Good if they execute correctly. Razorpay will do really well
I have seen a LinkedIn post yesterday from a Cashfree recruiter hiring for sde3/sde4
Probably not a great time to join any company. They all have challenges
Consumer not so good, B2B kindof in a better place, still look deeply in their financials.

I recently worked at a startup and it was terrible.
To be honest, I still worked at one of the better ones but it just sucked.
