Whats the most ridiculous thing you have seen in your office?
System, process, people or thoughts? What was the thing that made you go, shit I can't be here anymore!

No seats but forcing WFO

Lol

I'll start!
My office would require us to put in updates every hour consecutively (we would waste a bunch of time just filling it up itself)
This made me super anxious and was the time I felt i needed to quit!

Thats micromanagement. I broke similar system by updating everything. Like putting an update, then an update on taking break then an update on lunch then update on going for meeting. Returning after an hour from meeting and updating that. Fortunately I was a key resource, the manager was not able to call me out. Then one fine day I stopped updating. Eventually the rest of the team did too.

This is during covid WFH

Back in 2014, TCS used to present its employees with a small booklet of 60 tokens per month. You could exchange a coupon for filter coffee, 2 for ‘nes-coffee’. And so on. What was funny though that my colleague who wasn’t into tea coffee would still exchange 2 of hers for a green tea bag and take it home.

😂😂
