What's with Swiggy? Why is the market share declining?

I remember nov-dec 2023. I hardly ordered from Zomato. It was always Swiggy. I read the numbers aswell and they were doing good in terms of market share. 6 months down the line, I never open Swiggy app now. Zomato has stuck with me. I don't know what made me stick with Zomato so much so that I have there premium membership. Its coming from someone who hated Zomato in 2023, to now having there membership. Just checked thw Swiggy market numbers, and they are doing not so good. They are sinking. They are planning for IPO so they should have been good, but they aren't, why so?

I am regularly using Swiggy, Zomato doesn’t refund until you quarrel with them, this happened to me twice

When there’s a refund that you’re supposed to get, Zomato sends a message ’Refund initiated’ > ‘Refund Processing’ > ‘Refund Processed’.

But they won’t share the RRN number which they prolly get when initiate it.

Moreover uiux is better in swiggy and overall a better app.

Zomato UI UX is much more compact and clean. Swiggy has big character sizes like it's meant for old people l.

I personally like swiggy and found zomato clunky, maybe it’s personal preference. But the main issue is that they don’t refund when the order fails 💁🏼‍♂️
