What's worse that can happen during notice period
Hi guys
I am not able to deliver my work because of personal commitments. And I have informed my manager about my problems. They still expect me to put in 10 hours of work. And status updates are being taken by the director also.
Sometime earlier they hinted that they will involve the partner if certain work is not given in this timeline. I even asserted that it is very unrealistic timeline. But they said come what may , do it.
I'm on my notice. Can they possibly terminate me . Or what is the worst scenario possible here.
I'm not interested in having any conversations around any timelines or such because anyways I'll be gone .
Just worried a little about professional reputation.

Have seen a couple of instances where people were working on weekends and doing deployments after their last working day as they were told to finish tasks assigned to them, without which the manager will not approve final day clearance and which will impact their FFS payment date. And also some stress on completing last day formalities in time or even after you leave.
Take care of yourself first, don't burn bridges with your manager, if needed convince them that you are not in a situation to do things.

Nothing much will happen but it is better to atleast work 5-6 hours, again as long as you dont have anything money to payback in full and final settlement , you should be good
They can't do anything when you are on notice period I think.
