Is he just selling courses by creating fear? I understand that upskilling is the only way to increase your income and being credible in the industry. But the way he speaks I feel there is no life for IT employees at all....

+1... Ona regular schedule I work around 5 hrs a day, meaning focused work. Some days when things get heated, and work gets extended, to say 8-9 hrs , then This would drop to 3-4 hrs for the next couple of days. But I stay in the office/appear online at least 12 hrs a day minimum.
Narrative/appearance are everything here.
