Why do companies still prefer Bangalore?

Bangalore has the following problems:

  1. Poor infrastructure
  2. Huge rent with pathetic interiors (even in posh societies)
  3. Water issues
  4. Local people issues
  5. Traffic

So why do companies still prefer Bangalore and why don't they move to a different city like Hyderabad, Pune, Gurgaon or any other upcoming tier - 2 city?

Don't you think that this well help both the company and the employees by saving on the rental expenses?

P.S. : Hi Kannadigas, this is just a query that I have had for a long time and so asked it here. Please do not bombard this post with comments like "if you have so many issues then please leave Bangalore". Please understand that I am here just because my company has called me here for the job. If it was upto me, I wouldn't be here. Also, constructive criticism helps in improving your city. So please acknowledge the issues and try to pressurise your government to improve the infrastructure.

There is no government in Bangalore. The people are running the city by themselves or that's how it looks like. The previous government was shit. The current government is shit as well. The next government will also be shit. Anyone who has lived through both the governments will know that it's just a pointless excercise to demand anything from them at this stage.

This is an easy one:

  1. Tax benefits by the state
  2. SEZ's are in abundance
  3. No climate issue which at the very least keeps mood fresh
  4. Ecosystem of startups which leads to easy funding access

P.S. : Not a Kannadiga

Is this end near for BLR?

It's crazy how this native-non native issue persists immensely in Bangalore. No other developed city like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune has this.

Bangalore is going down big time with so much rising hate in the city.
