When a company files for IPO, they publish a DHRP doc containing the financials of the company. Indian founders try tweaking the financials just 1Q before the DHRP by reducing certain costs and making numbers look good on paper.
O_o did exactly the same, they reduced the engineering workforce significantly before filing the DHRP. Remember, workforce costs is significantly high for many orgs.

They said they did not have projects. Gave option of voluntarily resignation with one month extra time for switch prep, or do PIP then will revaluate the option. I resigned.
They gave vague reasons at that time. They said along the lines , it's not you, it's compatibility between us. I know they were making these up. these reasons did not add up as after ,3-4 months of IPO, they hired couple of other people for the same roles.
