Social Mobility is harder with increasing wealth inequality
Those who continue living in poverty are mostly stuck because they fail to break the hand to mouth cycle. Rising inflation and no growth in income leads to a hand to mouth cycle where no savings or investment is possible which eventually leads to poverty.
