What my understanding from research in longevity from years ago was that once you are born...you are fucked. Your DNA is not malleable enough to make drastic changes to increase your lifespan
There was also this Google moonshit called Calico, which had like a Billion dollars in funding which was looking into cellular regeneration. Basically when new cells are created from old ones they lose some genomic matter which allows only a limited number of replications before it becomes impossible to regenerate. And the finding was that only cancer cells can near infinity regenerate.

Also I don't know what happened to them probably Google decided to better use the money to overpay nooglers than try to save humanity.
