Hey Folks, Cto of dukaan,Subhash, just posted a tweet saying they are hiring frontend devs. You are needed to clone a dashboard UI shared in figma with pixel perfection. I am a frontend dev with 2 yrs of experience. Can someone plz guide me if I should consider the oppurtunity? ( they have acquired a bad reputation lately) Is it a good place as far as growth in skills is concerned? How much salary can I expect at Dukaan and in general in the industry as a frontend dev with 2yoe ? Please Help!

Their VC funding is drying up, and finding investors for next rounds is proving difficult because of the macroeconomic conditions (apart from glaringly obvious reasons like their hype has died down since it's not 2020 anymore). Twitter has launched Ads Revenue Sharing where users with enough engagement get paid by Twitter. This is Dukaan leadership's last resort to sort of "bootstrap" themselves. The income from Twitter is probably what helped Dukaan become profitable a few days ago. What do you folks think?

Been lately coming across multiple incidents of dukaan customer care/ founder being rude to customers! What's up with him?

Several other founders out there full of immaturity, short sightedness and god complexes. Have you met any of them?

Came across tweet guy asking for frontend job to Dukaan’s CTO who fired his support and tech team just last month, and here is this guy and many others asking him for Job.

The company had more than 6 layoffs in the past 10 months. Right from office boys to the company COO was affected by the layoff. The recent layoff happened 10 days back, where the company didn't pay their employees a single dime and instead gave them their value less esops to keep their mouth shut. The company is being run by 2 arrogant adamant co-founders along with their 10 other close ally so called the CORE team. The employees were on 30% salary cut since 10 months in the name of deffered and were promised that everyone would get it back with 8% interest on the cut. In every layoff employees were asked to leave within a day or two without even paying them for their notice period. Nobody was vocal about it as the founders had threatened some ex employees that they would make their life miserable and they will find it difficult to get jobs anywhere in future.

I saw on Twitter Dukaan fired 90% of its staff. What’s up with that? Any news?
