Anyone here from Tanla?
for a senior software engineer, Would you recommend to join it. how's the WLB and culture? what perks they give provide. How's the pay scale?
Wanted to learn about the engineering culture, WLB and your experiences there
I'm one of them who joined last year. Honest opinion:
Pros:
Cons:
High performance pressure.
WLB is there but can get bad once in a while. Depends on team largely.
Company has high burn. Though they're at hyperscale mode now and making good revenue, just a point to keep in mind
Risk of being let go is decently high because of performance.
If you want to know anything specific, let me know
Are they remote or office ?
Remote
I don’t trust that company, they are one of those who would give you an assignment and then ghost you once the work is done.
Yeah, it’s a fairly good company compared to the Indian startup ecosystem. I saw the team grow, wlb can be bad at times.
Expect atleast one really rough quarter every year(>50 hours/week).
Although, you will learn a fair bit and get to execute on a lot of technical problems with high degree of ownership.
Hey, how did you land a job here?

I'm currently interviewing with them for a backend engineering role.
Can someone shed some insight on their culture and wlb?
Thanks in advance for the inputs😅
