Seeking Guidance for My Future: Lost and Confused in a Tier 3 College.

I am from a tier 3 college, going to graduate in 2024. With all these layoffs, recession scene going on I am completely stressed out. My college started pretty late, I am in third year within just 1 year of offline college and 1 year of online. Didn't really get time to learn and explore initially, I haven't done much development neither LeetCode, I feel like I am effed now. What and how should I start getting a grip on things? I have done basic HTML, CSS, know python and basics of JS plus Java, C and C++. I really want some guidance on how to proceed ahead with learning development, I really want a job and get out of my toxic household.

I'm from a tier 3 college and can't get my hands on good projects or cool teams to work with. My peers are bookworms and have no practical knowledge, I feel completely directionless atm🫠. Anyine know where I could look/ what I could do?

I am a Tier 3 second year sem4 student in Ahmedabad LJ University I am currently having an internship as a python developer like I write code connecting python with aws and azure Not great work but I get 5k a month I know MERN stack with some docker and aws knowledge Now I am confused as college is bringing internship but they are with 2 year bond! And the stipend offering is 5-10k which will increase every six month I may get a MERN Stack job there Also as the work in current internship is not great I am also thinking if not college i find some other MERN stack internship on my own but I am in super doubt as if what if I can't find one. What should I do Leave my current intern for college internship with bond Leave my current intern and try to find on my own Continue with this internship only for more 3 months they are offering Can everyone please help me.

As someone from a tier-3 college, is it possible for me to bag a good job and slowly climb the ladder and make 30L, 40L like some of you do? Is this IIT branding so needed even today to get a job at top companies? I have huge regrets for fucking up JEE mains now.

I’m a college grad from IIT in CSE. I haven’t done any competitive coding or any proper coding during my college days for that matter. I have lost confidence in myself for some reason. I had taken up a business job but left it in a few months because I thought I could do better. I want to do competitive coding but as soon as I open my laptop, anxiety kicks in. I need guidance on how to proceed and what recourses should I use. I don’t want to waste my degree as I feel I can do better than my previous job. Please help me on fighting my demons.

Hi all , I'm a CS graduate of 2023 in a t3 college. I have done my internship in a startup company which closed in just 2 months . I had worked really hard and had completed multiple courses in MERN stack for a year in 2022 . Now there are virtually no companies hiring a MERN stack engineer. All the in campus placement of my college are mass hirers and non core CS companies. I was always intrested in theatre which I did effortlessly. I could do two things now . 1. Choose to find a job in some 3-5 lpa job and have wet dreams about joing maang one day 2. Choose to patiently grow in film industry. Which of them would be worth it. I appreciate the rudest words.be blunt .

I'm in tier 2 engineering college just completed my first year and just learnt C not 100% but tried to know the basics I'm confused to choose a path in coding What should i start learning how to learn these languages im so confused rn each and everyone is saying something different one is saying go for c++ then dsa someone is saying go for WEB dev I wanna learn something that'll help me in college as well as make me earn that much that i can fulfill my basic needs in college And lastly how to be motivated always to grind and learn as well as code cause i always lose motivation after few days because of fear that i don't know anything and I'm just a average student I'm scared that my college years will be waste if i didn't learn anything beforehand Please someone guide me the roadmap how and what to do

I'm 2023 btech grad, I have selected in virtusa, LTIMindtree and dxc but none of them are giving response to full time. They are just delaying the process. I'm worried about my future, and confused what to do, so that I land a job. I have knowledge of core java, sql, basic dsa(leetcode 150+) and very basic project(that don't come in mini project category). What to do? ... should I prepare dsa or do backend in java? ... or just wait for the on boarding

Without giving out too much info, I'm a tier 3 student but I'm in a program funded by one of the MAANGs in which there are other sophomores from tier-1 colleges. Keeping various bonus and side effects of such a competition aside, I really wanted to have a career in cybersecurity...but, seems like I am not made for it(tried for 1.5 years :/) I am starting out in cloud now, I'm working towards my first AWS certification. Question: Somehow I still feel not guided enough, my peers from that program get many on-campus opportunity, while i just get a referral to one of the MAANGs that fund it. I feel like i should really first focus on my DSA more than even cloud. What should I spend my second year on, DSA - to get internship, or cloud/open source?
