Not giving promotion

I gave my techleap exam and cleared it in January 2024 was expecting to be promoted in June cycle but Today I got to know I am not promoted.anyone aware of why this happened.

I am a backend engineer, working in a tech powered fashion company. Total experience: 3.5 yrs Current CTC : 24 lac fixed, 12 lacs ESOP in 4 years I joined as a software engineer, this April I will complete 2 years in current company, but Manager saying promotion might not be possible due to current situation and less promo slots available. I have been quite a good performer last 2 years , building a crucial project from scratch and handling everything alone due to short staffing. There is sole dependency on me for that project and company has ambitious golas with that project this year. Recently got SPOT award from skip manager as well. Only talked to manager last week , although we had made a promotion action plan few months back for my promotion this cycle and I meticulously followed every points in that plan , manager doesn't seem to be fighting much for my promotion, although he always says in my face that I am his star performer. I am really upset with this. What should I do ?? Talk to skip manager? Consider switching company ? Please suggest me. Thanks. P.S : work culture and wlb is good here. Also as I have the complete ownership of the project, I learn as well.

Hey people working in Accenture, can we see how many of you got increment /promotion in June Cycle. I am currently at L11. I was at least expecting some increment. My manager told us that nobody got increment. Only people who are promoted got it. They are giving the same excuses every cycle. Do you think if we can/should raise our voice for the same. I don't know what to say when they just throw these kind of excuses at us. It literally is the worst company to work for. I am so done with Accenture. There are no rewards for you even if you do a good job, so better don't do it only. Please share your experiences.

Anyone knows what is the process in TCS to get the grade from C1 to C2 showing overall experience as 4 years. In TCS i have 2 years as of today. Please guide if someone knows how to apply for C2 grade and eligibility criteria for the same.

I was expecting promotion this year. Someone two years junior from me gor promoted, ps different team same manager. My manager told me I am very good technically but need to grow on other aspects, did not told me what are the other aspects. He told me they will promote me once the project I am working on ends and my performance is good. Disheartened!! Worked my ass off last year, took initiatives even though no support from the team.

Hi, Does someone knows is September consider as promotion/hike cycle? I am aware there are 4 cycles - March, June, September and December. However, I have not seen anyone getting any promotion in September maybe I'm not that much aware about. I am in promotion pipeline and my manager told December so I want to know is September still considered as promotion/hike period, this information is very crucial for my career. Kindly share your thoughts!

If I join TCS in Oct 2024, do I will be eligible for anniversary hike in Oct 2025?

Hi Folks, Have you guys ever rejected an offer just because you thought maybe after 1 year I will get something better? I'm currently working as a consultant. I got an offer in a core product based company that too for a senior position. I got a decent hike approx 40 percent and stocks as well I have switched 3 companies in my career of 4 years (currently working in 4th). This is seen as a red flag by interviewers. And I also strongly believe I have some growth in my current company (skill wise not money and promotion). But in terms of Promotion or Money I have to wait a lot. The hikes are expected to be around 10 percent max in the month of November and for Promotion I have to wait till next June 2025 probably. What should I do now please advise 🥺
