I have an offer from Accenture for Job level 9 (Tech consultant). CTC offered is 30% hike.
I have good ratings, RSU and decent work life balance in Infosys. Is it worth it to switch? Is the role offered in Accenture good as per my current role?
See if you are comfortable and not like to switch then don't move instead check with infosys for salary hike. Else you can check with Accenture for more hike. Are you a Salesforce manual QA ?
Accenture is worst considering office politics. People are divided in 13 levels. So, for promotion you will find more bootlickers than other service based companies. My experience was bad and toxic in Accenture. As you know, in service based companies all depends on project.
So, if u want u can try.
In Accenture I had very good experience, good leads, no micro management, flexibility, work life balance. However, there were no hikes past 2 cycles only limited people got hikes due to recession i think idk. Choose your decision wisely I just have 2.5y of exp overall and I'm in Accenture since beginning i love everything about it just I'm sad because I'm underpaid. Talk to people on LinkedIn. Though I'm relatively junior with only 1.10 years of experience in Accenture itself, I advise against joining this company if you're happy and have a good work-life balance at your current company. Accenture is very toxic, with lots of politics and heavy workloads. Many seniors struggle for promotions and decent raises, while only the undeserving get ahead. The work environment is stressful, and no one enjoy a good work-life balance except the bullies. It's better to consider other MNCs, as the mental stress at Accenture isn't worth the money.
I was put into PIP by the seniors for no good reason and I'm no more a part of it. Also I've seen that if your manager or senior is unhappy with you, they put the person on PIP irrespective of their YOE, mentally harass them during that time, fail them in PIP and then force to resign or fire them
Accenture is good in terms of policies, when it comes to work life balance it vary project to project.
