Appraisals in 2024 ?

Dear experienced people of grapevine please share your appraisal % you got so far along with company, number of people (to get an idea of company size), service/product based and your experience level How much % is okay, good, best ? (It could be subjective but let's try to answer honestly) TIA!

With the ongoing appraisal season what kind of hikes are you guys are anticipating / getting?

I'm part of a sales team at a Series A startup that recently secured new funding. I have made a vital contribution to the revenue created. Aiming for a 30% hike (on the fixed) in the upcoming appraisal – any tips on how to approach it?

I am working as a SDE -1 for a startup for more than a year now, and I am confused what should be hike percentage after getting promoted to SDE - 2 that I should expect or should demand as a bare minimum? PS. I had 6 working days for nearly a year working 10-12 hours a day.

Personally, I haven't been getting random emails from recruiters like I used to get back in 2020/21. Have you also seen a slowdown? For people who have not been looking out, how have appraisals been for you this year compared to 2021 when attrition was quite high?

It's like going back to COVID days. We got email that due to current situation there will not be any increment this year. What about your company? How is the situation?

I’m a software engineer at a mid size company. I have 1y3mo of work ex. Appraisals are around the corner, and although the work is great, the pay not so much. I earn less than 10LPA. How much of a hike should I deserve in this market assuming I have done a good job.
