Should I Join PSB as a IT Officer ?

Hi everyone,i am working in PwC Oracle ERP domain right now and have 2.5 YOE (functional not technical )in the same role but i feel that Oracle ERP is not that great and do not wish to continue further in the same and want to switch to either Data analyst role or to SDE role in big tech.But, I am not sure about my interests and one of the main reasons i would want to switch to the above roles is the opportunities that are present as well because Oracle ERP pay is decent enough but work life balance is not great and when something does not interest you much i feel at-least wlb should be there. A much needed advice from the public would be helpful here if they have knowledge about the scope of oracle and how do i transition and gain relevant skills to Data analyst or SDE while still working in PwC. Thanks in advance for all the suggestions/advices.

I'm soon to receive an offer from PWC - Associate role, for their Hyderabad or Bangalore office, having reservations about the sbc large org nature and me coming from startup experience what if I'm not able to fit in there. 2.5 yoe backend (python flask mysql pandas etc) I'm also finding it very difficult to score interviews at more startups.

I have total experience of 6 years, 3 of those are at TCS as a Senior Process Associate (BPS). I have been learning skills required for transitioning to a career in Data Analysis. Should I try for jobs outside TCS or within TCS? Which one would be more easier? Also, if I choose TCS would there be a salary hike?

Right now I am thinking of job switch, so still in confusion how can i prepare myself and which technology should I prefer?

I want to switch my role to a Data Engineering job as my current role is not having enough job opportunities outside. I am planning to learn tools on Data Engineering. Like the Data Frameworks: Airflow,SSIS,Azure Factory And Dataworks like Snowflake,Databricks,Postgres I need some guidance on which tool to start learning and if I plan to learn these tools for the next 6 months. Is it possible to crack the interviews....this is my 1st switch to a new company. Can anyone pls suggest which framework, Dataworks tool i need to start and has high possibility for getting switch to new company. If possible can you pls share the learning path 🙏🙏🙏. I am planning to do learn data analysis in Power BI then give PL 300 exam . I am in procurement, non it . Will this help in my career ?

Background: Tier 1 college, Branch - Civil, 2018 passout, Presently working at a state govt PSU with around 11.5 LPA CTC (salary part only, excluding medical facility which is decent) Things I like at the present job: 1. Home state posting all throughout the career 2. Easy to take leaves and can mostly go home on weekends 3. Good work life balance. Things I don't like: 1. Rural posting (as of now, will change in future) 2. Repetitive kind of work - not challenging enough and hence limited growth (I guess this is true for most PSU jobs) Why thinking of the switch? 1. Civil was never really my passion - just what I got. 2. Taking the job was mostly due to family pressure of doing govt job. 3. Liked programming during school days, did web dev work in college fests. 4. I do like the process of building something up and also learning new things, and am hence beginning to feel tech is something that would suit me. 5. Salary and fomo factors are there but not significant enough. I feel I have not been taking enough risks and hence am not being rewarded enough. I want the thrill of grinding and progressing in life. What's stopping me then? 1. Obviously, the safety and protection of a secured job is difficult to overcome. 2. Family wants me to settle now, but I don't. 3. Recessions like this where layoffs take place even for skilled people due to factors not in one's control. 4. The fact that I might have to take a paycut, to begin in this career. So what should be the path to take? 1. Learn DSA, make projects and apply. Could use my network (although very very few of my batch are in tech, most are in analytics, finance, core sector) to begin somewhere and switch 2. Go for M.Tech in tier 1, and hence aim for product based companies. I am more inclined towards option 2, as the tech job market being what it is now. I am ready to slog for 2 -3 years (mtech preparation, mtech and then placement) Please help me out with your views and suggestion.
