Ugh, this is so frustrating!
Ugh, this is so frustrating! My dog just peed on a car tire parked on the road, and the owner went ballistic. They were super rude and yelled a bunch of insults, even though I'm a really responsible pet owner who always cleans up after my dog generally when he poops. They kept calling me names and demanding I clean the tire with lizol. The whole thing left me speechless! She stood der until she got the pleasure of seeing an other human being clean her car and get some ego satisfied. It's crazy how some people react. Is this normal in Bangalore, or did I just encounter a particularly grumpy dentist? This kind of negativity makes me wonder if the whole city is like this. Maybe everyone's just stressed? I have never experienced this is mumbai/kerala/chennai. Why bangalore? Anyway, I just needed to vent about this bizarre experience.

Why should anyone tolerate getting their car peed at by anyone?

The car was parked on the road not on the foot path. Going by your logic you are saying if the car is not a chariot then anyone can come and pee? Since your home is on the road basically on the footpath should I get all of my friends and start shitting and pissing near your home!? Doesn't make any sense. Would it have been okay if his dog was sitting and I came and peed him? Why? Is his dog a god? Or his chariot or made of gold?
Basically you are saying it is okay for a car owner to get their car peed at. If that is your logic then I guess I'll also say shitting and pissing at someones house is also okay. Killing an innocent man is also okay. Cannibalism is also okay.

People spend lakhs to buy a car and then thousands on its upkeep only for it to finally be peed on by someone's dog.
They can't stop strays because it's out of their control but when the pet owner is around it's not cool to piss on someone's belongings while they're watching lol.

Sorry you had to go through this. Some people are really feeling entitled and treat others poorly. But Iām sure this may not be limited to any city, let alone Bangalore. Keep calm and karma will take care of her.
I'm pretty sure she wouldn't have bothered if a stray dog did that. It's just that you got caught unaware and she had to vent it out on you. I've seen most dog owners allowing their dogs to pee on vehicle tyres with the presumption that it dries up quickly, and it's just a tyre that rolls on the road anyway!
Meanwhile, there's a dog in my apartment that regularly pees on my bike's rear wheel. I've never really had a issue with it. And I live in Bangalore.

Hey man, sorry you had to go through this and be at the end of some dfās ego trip. Whatās funniest is the chap who is giving you a lecture about what a strawman is, just went ahead to make a couple more strawman fallacies themselves. Takes a special kind of idiot to posture whack idiocy like that.
Ultimately, our cities donāt have the infrastructure for either cars to be parked or for pets to walk in pet friendly areas. So when a situation transpires such as the above, one of two things happen - dumbfuckās like the ones who have commented on your post are vindictive about it or are kind and find a solution, coexist in harmony. Bangalore is shit because people like them exist.
It is not Bangalore problem, it is some peopleās problem. I wonāt mind if that happens with my car. Anyways roads are not that clean to keep tyres clean. And I feel ppl can be more respectful of such situations rather than blasting out.
A lot of people have a lot of anger and hatred towards pets. Itās also about ego. The same people wouldnāt do anything if a street dog did the same. I wish people let go of hatred and anger but itās very difficult.

Standing like a gentleman and insulting the pet owners are two different things . Asking to clean up the car is up to the owner and nobody is criticising that. insulting and ill treating a person in public is condemnable and a way more grave mistake than a dog peeing on a car tyre. Hope people get it. At least the pet owner cleaned up the car tyre and it is high time abusers clean up their mind and mouth and start practicing kindness
When you say you're a responsible pet owner, why would you let your dog pee on a car / tyre, in the first place?
Also, would you have cleaned up if the owner didn't blast at you? Sure they could've said politely, doesn't excuse your responsibility.
I have friends who're pet owners, fortunately they don't act as entitled as some of you do.
Lol, people are commenting that "do you expect a garland", like really? Do they drive their car on clean roads? Dodge every shits and pees on roads? And after each driving, do they clean their tyres every time?
At least nobody should insult in public, people themselves have no sense, and expect pets to have sense.
