Want to move to a product role

Hi, I have close to 2 years experience in consulting mostly in implementation and support. I am looking forward to making a career in product management and would like to know how can someone with no product experience make this transition and land a job? Also what would be the best way to make this transition?

I am having experience of 18 months as devops engineer and going for masters in business analytics in usa next month and I want to move into product management,can anyone please guide me how to get product roles after graduation,and what needs to be done on my side before applying to jobs and skills I need to brush up before attending interviews.Can anyone answer it will be helpful.

I was super curious for product management roles and switch to startups was one of easy bets, my current role( 3 yr work ex as implementation consultant) in B2B involved customer interaction and working on requirements on OOTB product,but back then i didn't appear many interviews, i wasn't actively applying but with recent scenario of all layoffs and startups fundings, what should be a good strategy now? Need suggestions from experienced folks

Hi, I am a final year B.Tech student from Tier 1.5 college. Finding my way hard through SDE opportunities. I was thinking of going for Product Roles (Management/Analyst/Consultant). I have good business acumen and worked in management, content creation fields in college societies, but how can I enter into Product roles. Please help me guide through what steps I should be taking regarding preparing my resume, LinkedIn profile, applying to off-campus opportunities(domestic/abroad). Any inputs appreciated 🙏🙏

I am a Finance guy with around three years of experience but thinking to move to Product roles in fintech or a products that has anything to do with transactions. Where do I start?

Hey there! So, I have a friend who's currently an Associate Project Manager at an MNC. He's been doing the technical thing for 1.10 years and recently moved into the APM role. (YOE:2.5ish) The thing is, while the pay and work-life balance are good, he's not feeling all that jazzed about his work and wants to level up his career. He's got his sights set on a Consultant/Product Manager gig and wants our help to make it happen! Here are a few questions we have, and we'd love to hear your thoughts: 1.Would it be worth it for him to go for an MBA, particularly at ISB, to snag that Consultant/Product Manager role? 2.Are there other ways he could make the transition without having to go back to school? 3.How do Project Manager salaries and work stack up against those of Product Managers?
