Someone I know that lives in Mumbai is moving to Bangalore in 9 days.
3BHK house rent in gated society (Bellandur): 75k
Food expenses: 15-20k minimum
Domestic Help: 15k
Based on my conversation with said friend, Bangalore isn’t “cheaper” than Mumbai/Pune (which used to be the conception earlier)
It is his first Job, so he must be a fresher, so obviously he won’t be living in gated community.

I also moved in recently, did not get an appropriate flat to rent(1bhk in a preoccupied 2/3bhk) , my budget was 10-13k including maintenance
So decided to stay in PG in Sarjapur for 3-6 months.
I pay 17k for a single room with 3 times very decent food(breakfast+lunch+dinner)
Power backup , wifi etc.
Rent: 1BHK - 10,000/-
Meal Delivery Service - 13000/-
Bike Fuel - 2000/-
Bike Loan - 11000/-
Electricity - 600/
Miscellaneous Expenses - 5000/-
Near 80ft Road Indirangar. I rented the apartment during the pandemic and the owner is kind enough to not demand exorbitant rent increase.

jp nagar its an individual house but well ventilated and furnished
Thanks for sharing:)
In which area? And what are the cons of living in a PG?
I stay at Bosch adugodi near Koramangala
Con- privacy
There is pro's if stay in PG
No need to worry about electricity bill, WiFi bill, cooking, cleaning, security deposit (in pg it's 2k) , washing clothes, etc all these are covered on 7k for me .

Rent 2BHK : 10-15 k (avg Std of living)
: 16k - 30k (good to vry good stand of living)
31k-60k (excellent )
Certain areas like hsr, indira nagar and other posh localities demand min 25 k for an avg 2bhk and 40-50k for a decent one.

Shelter 2bhk ~ 25k but depends on area.

Food related expenses would be less than 10k if you can cook.
