When is the best time to negotiate?

Hello everyone! I'm an intern at a startup. I have received a full-time offer from another company. I want to negotiate with my current company as I anticipate their offer might be lower. My HR has asked me multiple times if I have an offer from any other company. Should I inform her now or wait until my current company presents an offer and then reveal that I have another offer?

Hi guys, I'm having two different company offers and they come with a timeline of acceptance. Is it ethical to accept both offers and join one. It's a tough spot as my existing notice is 90 days and don't want any surprises later. Please advice

To all those who have received multiple offers and negotiated before, how do you guys negotiate with counter offers? How and when should we go to previous HR who gave the offer before, with the new counter offer to increase the previous offer? Please help!

Two days back I had a call with Walmart Hr regarding offer. I gave my previous compensation 22 l fixed 2 bonus 5 per year esops. I said 29 L fix as expectation. (Though I am okay with better than 22 l ) as I know I have very less skills and I need to learn a lot to get a good salary tbh. I joined as SDE last company but exited as sde 2. My increment would have happened in October but got laid off in Sept. So she said no for this salary and didn't give a good feeling that a good salary she will propose and said we can't give this definitely be ready for negotiation kind off. So. Are there any points that I can use for negotiation? I am an immediate joiner. If I join Walmart then it would be my 3rd company in 3.5 years of my career and j don't want to make job hops. I have nobody who can give me some advice. So, in my head I think I can take whatever my salary is and after working on my weak areas are and then after 1.5 years change to a better company but another job hop will happen. I am not working since the past 5 months. Don't know how to handle thoughts in my head. Please guide.

Hi All, For example while searching a job you will get one offer and you accept also then in the 2 months notice period if you get another offer from another company how to talk to first company ? How you guys are tackling this situation?

I got to know that budget for the role i interviewed is in range of 20-25 LPA. My last drawn salary itself is lower than the market standards. The company wouldn't give hike more than 30% considering my experience in the role domain. But I have performed well in all my interview rounds. Any tips from the community to negotiate for atleast the lower band of their budget?

Hi, I have an offer from Company A and my joining date is in next 2 weeks. But just last friday i got another offer from Company B with much higher salary than A. But I have interest to work on Company A. Do you think I could negotiate with Company A so close to the joining? Has anyone done it before and what was your result? The company I used to work for recently shut down and I just received my first offer from a sizeable unicorn. I am being massively low-balled (20% cut). And on top of it, it's an exploding offer. I have a couple of interviews lined up (they start after May 28th) but at the moment, this is the only offer I have. What should I do? 1. Hard negotiate? I have offers from X and Y companies, both are good, I really want to join X company but Y is giving more salary. How should i ask X company to revise and match or come close to the Y offer?
