How to handle emotions while switching companies

I am just 1.5 years old into my current company and the growth seems to be slow here.Hence wondering if I can look outside in the market for some new opportunities. Just an anxiety: What should I answer if the HR asks me about the frequent switches? I always get stuck on this question ( ofcourse I do it for quick growth) but how can I sugarcoat to justify this? Please comment and share your thoughts.

Just got a decent offer, considering a switch. Not sure how to approach manager (also co-founder) with this news. Context: 1. Org has no clear set of rules/policies, but I heard notice period is usually 1 month. My joining date is 1.5 months from now. 2. Team is in a chaotic state. 1-2 folks were fired, no replacements have been hired. 1 person is on a sabbatical. Worried manager won't take news positively. 3. Want to leave on good terms, this is my first job, so not really aware of how to have these conversations.

I recently joined an early age startup but that place was nothing what they told it’d be. So I decided to quit in 2 weeks. I now have an offer from a listed organisation and I am joining on Thursday. However, I haven’t told them about the last 15 days I spent at this startup and have submitted relieving of the last 2 orgs I worked with for 2 yrs each. Can there be a problem later?

This might look like a lengthy rant, but please bear with me till the end. Will be grateful for all/any help. Much appreciated 1st Company(MNC | Name Appears in PF) - Worked for 1.6 years. Left yoluantarily in order to prepare for GATE 2nd Company(startup | Name doesn't Appear in PF) - Worked for 1 year. Was let go citing performance reasons(Which was completely bullshit) It was just the beginning of Covid 3rd Company(Startup | Name Appears in PF) - loined in the month of June 2020. Worked for 2 months and suddenly they terminated me in 3rd month since 1 was still in probationary period and they said, my performance was not upto the mark/Which I don't believe) 4th Company/Mid Size Company | Name Appears in PF) - Worked for 11 months. My parents were looking for a match for me. Left voluantarily, in order to get a high CTC. No problems here 5th Company/MNC | Name Appears in PF) - Currently working here. It's been almost 1.11 years and counting One of my frien d had referred me to GE through his senior and the feedback that he got was,I have changed many companies in short span of time. So my question is this: Iwill remove the second company from my resume and add that experience to the 3rd one while giving interviews or when the recruiter asks for the cv. And then once everything is over and at the time of offer release I will provide the proper documents to HR for bGV. will this work? Has anyone tried this in the past? The problem is, I cannot completely remove 2nd company as it would reduce my exp and it will create unnecessary problems w.r.t my passing out date and relevent exp And I cannot remove the 3rd company as it's name appears in pF forms. Hope you guys are able to see my dilemma here. Any/all help will be much appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

Hi guys, I wanted an advice from you as I am in a confused state. I have got an offer for a leading company with a significant pay raise. However, now at the end of my notice period my current employer is ready to give me a pay raise and match the offer. What should I do? I have been stagnant when it comes to growth in my current organization and whatever Upskilling I have seen is through my after office hours study. I am confused as to what should I do!? I have a 1.5 yrs experience.

I have recieved offer letter from Accenture having expected DOJ after 90 days ,I have 90 days notice period .I'll resign from my company(Cognizant ) and am afraid if Accenture will revoke my letter or won't reach out to me later then I'll be jobless . Can someone help me with the process,and how to calm down. Pov-Its my first switch.

Currently I’m a software engineer in corporate. But now my company has full demotivated environment and I’m not able to work or deliver my tasks. I’m applying for other companies also . But don’t even get interviews scheduled. What should i do? Should i go for govt jobs also? Should i resign first then decide? Should i continue working ? Should i think about career switching? My brain itself is not braining , and filled with such thoughts.

Two days back I had a call with Walmart Hr regarding offer. I gave my previous compensation 22 l fixed 2 bonus 5 per year esops. I said 29 L fix as expectation. (Though I am okay with better than 22 l ) as I know I have very less skills and I need to learn a lot to get a good salary tbh. I joined as SDE last company but exited as sde 2. My increment would have happened in October but got laid off in Sept. So she said no for this salary and didn't give a good feeling that a good salary she will propose and said we can't give this definitely be ready for negotiation kind off. So. Are there any points that I can use for negotiation? I am an immediate joiner. If I join Walmart then it would be my 3rd company in 3.5 years of my career and j don't want to make job hops. I have nobody who can give me some advice. So, in my head I think I can take whatever my salary is and after working on my weak areas are and then after 1.5 years change to a better company but another job hop will happen. I am not working since the past 5 months. Don't know how to handle thoughts in my head. Please guide.

Hello grapeviners. I was recently interviewing at a big MNC and gave 5 rounds of interviews. (4 Tech, 1 Managerial). I did fairly well in the interviews (according to me). Got rejected in the end and received no feedback... Just a generic rejection mail. How do you guys keep up with failures like these? Whenever I give interviews at a good company and perform well, I tend to imagine myself as a future employee in that company and how my life would be after joining there... and it really breaks my heart when I get rejected. This happened to me few times before as well and I still have no idea how to move on from feelings like these. Really interested to know what do you folks do in situations like these... How do you calm yourself down?
