Been considering to take a break from job
So I have been looking for prospects for marriage and it's a very exhausting process. Plus this job gets very demanding and I am unable to focus on work. I don't have clarity on my career currently. I am planning to leave this job and take a break of few months to recharge myself from this exhaustion and burnout. Not sure if it would be the right thing to do.

I have two kids so I can't travel like others but I desperately need a break. I am trying to find a new job as the current one sucks anyway then I want to take a 1 month break and go on a bike ride maybe to Sri Lanka. But again I am pussy enough to do it on my own. Need a friend to tag along

Assuming you are a guy, marriage prospects mainly I guess looks for income and job stability for guys. So you might need to be careful on it.
Take a break, but not to find fkbois but soulmate.
Travel without smoking and alcohol.
Find ur inner self, meet people, explore places, enlarge ur mindset.
I have seen western people especially girls doing that normally, risk appetite in Indians is less in general

I am in the same boat. Desperately need a break from work. But can’t afford to resign from the job because my current one is good in terms of pay and location. Will be difficult to find something similar if i resign.
Unfortunately I do not have an option in my current organisation to take sabbatical leaves
Even I want to take a break from work to give life more thought and immerse in some memorable experiences while age still permits.
Just curious to know what kind of guys you are looking for and what your expectations are if you're comfortable sharing.
At this point, I have just the basic expectations considering I am seeing in arranged marriage set up. Basic expectations would be like good natured guy and financial stability.

Any comments on the salary being more than you or is it ok if it's lesser too? Asking this because I have seen girls in arrange marriages having expectations of 2x or 3x their own salary from the guy.
