How's your relationship with money ?

Hello community, I wanted to know how you guys manage your money? Like those with 10+ years of experience having more than 20 30 lakhs, what do you do with that money? Do you invest, put the money in the bank. And how do you feel safe about it. Recently, one of my neighbors' bank accounts got freezed out of nowhere, thus the ask. Would love to know about how you guys handle big chunks of money.

Hey folks, I'm a recent graduate, got a job at a startup and the base will be <15, >10. Shifted to Bangalore (more like returning after 6 years, lived for 4 years before that). Since I'll be starting my full time journey soon, I want to know how you guys split your take home salary into needs, wants, luxury, savings, investing etc. Currently, I'm in a rented flat in HSR (my split is 7k) and will rent out/buy some home appliances. Food would be around 10k a month (no maid, all outside). I just want to know your experiences on spending and handling money. Not that I'm bad at it, but this is the start of my journey and I would like to know how other people manage their money, so I'd know if I have to tweak some things. Do tell any strict DOs/DONTs, common mistakes.

Basically want to know how you guys strategise and manage spending. Few questions to make this easier 1. Are you single/married? 1.5 Do you have impulsive spending issues? 2. What’s the spending + investment + necessities + savings split? 3. Are y’all targeting “FIRE” or just winging it? Been making this much for a while now, married too, zero generational wealth. Somehow we’ve got very bad financial discipline and manage to save only under a lakh per month in Bangalore. Feel we should be doing better :/

So many folks are speaking out (or bragging who knows🤷) about their monthly/yearly paychecks. Just curious, for all single folks who are receiving a hefty wad of cash every month: 1. what do your general expenses look like? 2. what do you like to spend it on the most? Here's my monthly breakdown(jab hum employed hua karte the🥲): rent(coliving PG)- 12k transport- avg. 1.5k food- avg 7k gym & stuff- 7k parties- 5k misc- 2k TOTAL- 34.5k out of 80k in-hand Apart from the general expenses, once in a while, I'll indulge in buying a good perfume of around 5-6k. The 2 most costly purchases I made were a new laptop(asus vivobook)- 50k & prs electric guitar & accessories- 82k What about you?

Maintaining track of investments, bank accounts/deposits, PPFs, trading, debentures, mutual funds, insurances/ULIPs, N number of form 16s, IT returns, then home loan/personal loan/car loan accounts, credit card accounts, paying bills, remembering usernames & passwords of each online account, nomination updated or not, meeting KYC requirements….phew! How do you manage your financials? Do you even know your financial worth? (I work in the field of software engineering)

Every month my salary gets credited I barely spend 20% of it the rest of it is just sitting around in my bank account it's already above 5L. I keep thinking of investing it in stocks/mf but it's a lot of work 😔 What do you guys do with your salary, it would be great if you can share your investment strategy and how do you keep yourself motivated to stick to it

I'm a queer person in their mid 20's new to adulting. Most of the personal finance thumb rules/advice/content out there is centered around a cis het perspective and that way of life - it gets confusing to think about wealth, saving, FIRE, etc. without having any relatable reference point. Are there any queer folks here who have come across similar confusion and how have you navigated through it? Just wanted some insights on how you think about money and life goals
