Offer Negotiation Process

How to negotiate properly? Anytime we could get to do it on our CCTC or the holding offer (2-3L extra). But if I feel the company could pay more than it + my skills are worth it. How to put that out? Many times I get to see a response that your numbers are high compared to your current CTC / max we can give 2L more than your holding offer not more than it. Example: CCTC : 10LPA, holding : 15LPA, mostly HRs try to settle me at 17LPA max. But through some research if I see the same companies are paying somewhere between 18-22LPA, so I can get offered 22LPA also right! So in such cases how to know the range of hiring? how to negotiate to maximum(realistically) without any regrets and get the best, especially when I am expecting a 100% hike or more?. Does interview performance affect salary? Pour your input guys.

I'm been on the lookout for a new job and the first question recruiters ask is if I have an offer in hand and what's my expected CTC. The next time, i get asked from a recruiter if I have an offer in hand, I want to say yes. Is there a way for them to verify if there's an offer or not other than asking you to send a copy of it ?

I have given interviews and cleared them. I got a call from HR asking for payslips and another offer details. They said they will get back with offer. How to go about here? If they come with a lower offer than what i asked, how much liberty i have to ask further. Does HR will come with 2-3 various levels of offer and then try to negotiate with me. Any help or insights would be helpful in how HR comes with offer details. My interviews were pretty good and i think they like me.

Since we all are actively interviewing at times, I need help with how you go with offers. I was interviewing for last month, have got two offers and few companies are still in the pipeline. How do you go with saying no once you have accepted an offer. So i got an offer from a startup they are paying higher than the other one for now, but i still wanna try with other companies. Guys, need a quick descriptive help here. I applied to the position of senior profile for which in 1st round only they gave asked youe CTC expectation and at what CTC you will not go beyond. I shared my CTC and after 3 days I got an mail stating that my candidature got rejected because they will not be able to pay that CTC which is market standard that i asked. Now, i want to work in that company because profile is good and will help to draft my career and i am ready to decrease my CTC expectation also. My problem is how do I portray over mail and what pointers i should be adding to convey them to consider my profile for next round of interview as i am ready to work at lesser CTC (asked 3x of my curent CTC when lastly was discussed). Note: HR didn't asked my my current CTC . She directly asked expectations and at what CTC you will not go beyond. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

what is this weird culture of FANG these days? got interviewed for a position with on of the companies, here’s my rant. - HRs don’t have the decency to revert back promptly for feedback for even if it’s positive. - Interviewer not opening up the webcam but asking you to even share your screen, webcam and even your property papers if they can. - Lowballing offers, Got an offer which is not even close to the current TC, and yes we had the current compensation discussion beforehand. - Quoting some numbers before the interviews and giving a 20-30% lesser offer after the interviews. This is when the candidate received strong hire. I don’t know where as a job market we are heading towards, but FANG culture has been on a downwards path. Got interviewed with them around 4 years back and i can see things are not the same now.

I have offers from X and Y companies, both are good, I really want to join X company but Y is giving more salary. How should i ask X company to revise and match or come close to the Y offer? Request some experienced person who has who has done multiple negotiations earlier to please help A PS: X gave the offer last month and Y gave it now

HR is is trying to lowball me into accepting an offer at my current compensation stating market conditions. I don’t have any other offers yet. What can be done here? 🥲

When someone is having multiple offers, when will be the best time to negotiate. I mean how many days prior to the joining date one should talk about multiple offers with recruiter and negotiate?
