Absolute chaos at my office

I recently worked at a startup and it was terrible. To be honest, I still worked at one of the better ones but it just sucked. Some of the clear downsides I see - Survival mode leads to chaos. You can be treated anyway and asked to leave whenever even though you left big opportunities to be here - Brand loss to find next job (Big problem) - Trying to make you feel unworthy(Doesn't bother me but I have seen people lose self confidence) - Loss of opportunity to build real skills like building sustainable teams for the long run I think over all working at a startup especially early teams is a losing proposition. Do it only if - - you know the founders/team well - you know the industry and market well and it is a bet you personally believe in - you are secure enough in life that if you go back to your job, you will easily get employed For middle class kids, startups are the worst bets one can take.

Loosing respect for the companies which are laying off the freshers. I thing it is the worst thing which can happen in an industry. Ola and Amazon have fired freshers very recently. Any other companies which had done this?

I know that the atmosphere is kinda bleak right now in Big tech with massive layoffs happening left and right, but anybody still hiring freshers?

Me and my spouse in total are earning 6 Lakh a month pre-tax, but inspite of that there is too much pressure on finances. I am just amazed with the cost of living. Rents, School fees, EMIs, Taxes are just eating away all the income. I am barely left with 1 lakh at end of month. This saving is not enough for any emergency. Recently my family faced with medical emergency and I am still recovering with the debt it created. Company covered health insurance denied the claim on certain grounds and we were f**c***. It looks so pretty from outside, but honestly I am frustrated even with this package in hand. Is anyone else feeling the pressure, or I am just bad at managing finances?

This is absolutely meme material!! They declared that 75% of employees will work from home by 2025, and before even 2025, they reverted that and now claiming everyone to come to office all 5 days!! I mean not even Hybrid, but all 5 days!! Many of my friends are jobless and they are really stressed. Anyone have some leads really appreciable?

Housing.com (REA India) ranked 3rd in the GPTW survey this year. They provide several awesome perks like, laying off without any notice, fucking their reviews just so that they could justify the lay offs, and threatening actions if anything came out on social media. 10-15% of the whole tech team was laid off (mostly freshers) apparently on the basis of low performance. It was all carried out by the higher management, not even the managers had any clue about the lay off happening. The performance rating was rigged by the higher management who had no interaction with the tech people. They had this awesome idea of getting reviewed by people who we had never interacted with. Managers were merely bystanders who had no say in the performance review whatsoever. PS: A note for the management --> Housing.com would be an employee friendly company only if you guys would give two fucks about employees, instead of Caring so much about the GPTW ranking like conducting hands on sessions and literally forcing people to put in good rating.

Hi guys, just got layedoff day before yesterday. I had joined Increff on 5 June and was layedoff after 2 months due to cost cutting. They had overhired people hoping for growth but their clients left and had runway of 5-6 months. Can you guys help me out here in finding a new job. I was working as an SDE backend. Hello Everyone, I recently got shortlisted for TCS prime offer. I am doing continuous research about topics on which I should focus. But online research is confusing me. Since TCS is offering prime roles for the first time, online resources are not turning out to be that helpful. So, please give me some insights about how I should prepare for it. It will also be helpful if I could get an idea about the interview process for Prime roles, so that I can prepare accordingly. Moreover, this will be my first walk in interview(I have given online interviews) and I will appreciate some interview tips for that too.
