Retirement Fund Investment Suggestions

I am seeking some advice here if there’s any service, guidance related to lump sum investing for my retiring parents. They don’t have any liabilities, will get monthly pensions. They hold some equities, MFs but that was bit scattered without proper planning. If anyone here helped their parents plan better risk, stress free retirement lives, pls feel free to add. My idea as of now is to - 1. Put 20% in FDs for any medical emergencies (beyond health insurance) 2. Another 20% for philanthropy goals they have from long 3. Rest 60% in icici pru multi asset fund , it will keep rebalancing the asset classes and taxation will be under LTCG. Please share alternate plans, will help us. Thanks!

Hi all , I have some 10 lacs of savings which I don't want to keep idle in the bank for obvious reasons, I need suggestions on where I can invest for the next couple of years with Medium risk involved. TIA.

My parents are retiring in a couple of years, have govt pension but also have a sizable corpus in their PF account. Need advice on investment options, have no loans or debt right now. Focus on growing money with relatively low risk tolerance. Have considered FD, Debt fund. What about the senior citizen saving scheme, is it good? What other options can I explore apart from gold and real estate?

Folks, this is for my parents. Let’s suppose we have huge amount in FD, and want to divert some portion of that to any place other than FD, from Tax saving perspective, what is the Best avenue? Please note that it is hard earned retirement money, risk appetite will be a moderate. What all are best lump-sum investment ways? Index Funds? Actively managed Mutual Funds? Anything else?

Current mf portfolio (total invested = 10L) : Axis small cap Quant absolute Hdfc equity savings Axis blue chip Sbi gold (just started) Top performers are axis small cap and quant; also running an sip on them Current stocks (1.3L ): Mostly largecap (mostly in red) The rest of the money is either in fds or in the Bank (significant amount) I feel the equity portion of my investments is very less and I need to be a bit more aggressive on it right now since I've about 60% of my net worth in either fd or in Bank. I can probably do a 5L lump sum then an sip on the same if they continue to perform well. I have lump sum of 3.6 lakhs in my savings account. Pls suggest where to invest it. I am thinking of 50% of lump sum invest in FD and 50% of lump sum in liquid funds.
