Why do men just suddenly go quiet?
Fathers, brothers, friends- they will be happy cheerful jolly one day and next day silence! Won't share what's bothering them If we ask too many times, then we are termed as nagging

Idk about father but as a brother I don't share because I don't want to give unnecessary stress to my sibling and as a friend I think most of them don't care and once you open up they will use it against you when time comes.

Idk I have younger brother, so it always feels like he will not understand the situation and why to give him unnecessary stress then, It might be false, but it's just the mindset

What're edge cases here
Disagreement on minor issues. Which have no effects on daily lives but the disagreements are the war of individual philosophies. For example exercising is good everyone knows. But when to exercise becomes a real issue. One says morning is best and the other says evenings are best. The issue aggravates and creeps into other talks too. This happens sometimes. That's why the next few days go silent on agreeing on every issue without being vocal about your disagreements which makes me smile.

Men don’t like to share there problems
They like to solve them on their own
Unconsciously they think that they will be perceived as weak if they go to others for solutions

because that's how men try to resolve their issues without bothering others, they will go beserk but won't share it, sometimes poeple call it being egoistic and arrogant but even after sharing it or being vulnerable with someone (no matter who they are) it feels it's not worth it and people just use it against them.
Let the man brood in peace.
We don't share because:
1. It's personal
2. Probably been made fun of/ignored in the past
3. Probably dealing with rando existential crisis.
4. Sometimes we want to be left alone.

I think it is normal for guys, throughout our life we are expected to be strong mentally.
Our value/existence depends on how much we provide.
Men don't share their pain/emotions because once we do either it will be used against us or we are looked down upon.
That's why men die early compared to women,also suicide rate higher in young men.
Tbh we cannot expect unconditional love from anyone,not even from our parents sometimes.
Only pets(especially dogs)love us men unconditionally
Yes, men need their own space from time to time. He will be more glad if you give them that space.
Sometimes we want a time box where we don’t think about anything at all.
You have to be more accepting of this and let it go. He will come to you with his problems in his own time.
Some people don't want to appear weak,
Some people don't want to stress out other family members
Sometime we are stressed out, know there is a solution but waiting till it's get implemented, will share once it is done, till then we keep quiet.
When we say what is bothering us, we will immediately get gaslighted and that point will be used against us for the rest of our lives
