Indigo has become pathetic!

Such a shame. Almost all the Indigo flights I have taken in last couple of months have been late. New benchmark of Indigo standard time now 🤮

Worst part is - no one seem to care and airlines always blindly say ‘delayed due to operational reasons’. I doubt if the central authority has any check on on time performance and inconvenience to the passengers

Some of the shit they do is preventable through basic process improvements. I recently had my connecting flight cancelled at last minute and they still sent my checked in luggage to a different terminal for which I had to wait for 3 hours to get. Same thing happened to a bunch of passengers. Super rude and uneducated customer service desk

Indian Airlines: Tier List 🛫

- **Tier 1** (Should Book These): Vistara (for comfort, feels, food) Indigo (for being cost effective, on time, no frills) - **Tier 2** (Doable): Air India (some planes are good now, but still inconsistent) Spicejet (if you are in luck, it's not too bad anymore) - **Tier 3** (I Don't Value My Life) Air India Express (fka Air Asia - avoid for life) Akasa (it's a great flight, as long as you assume your takeoff is at T+2 hours by default) Feel free to opine but this is how it is. I fly every month and have done so for years now. Hope this helps before you book for Diwali.

Does anyone feel like domestic flight rates increased 1.6x -2x for 2024? what's the reason for this surge even when there are no long weekends? Any tricks to get back to old prices atleast at 1.3x?

If you are flying out of Delhi, reach well before time

If you ask how bad could it be, it is crazy out there! A relative reached aipprt 4 hours before their flight to reach 10 min before boarding started (didn't even get something to eat) There are huge huge queues, flights have been delayed over 48 hours!, people are shouting beating up airline staff, lounges are packed, security and immigration taking own sweet time or even delaying once you tell them you might miss the flight. Please pack homemade food with you. Delays can go too long, and you may not even be able enter the lounges. It is sad situation coupled with NCR people at their worst. Glad I didn't go anywhere at this time, not that I had the money but that's not the point 😅
