Credit Card Recos Grapeviners
Spend around 10k on flights, 10k on dining out+swiggy, utility bills around 5k, shopping around 10k. Good credit card recos. I would love to get flight redemption points.
I currently have a Diners Black and it’s LTF… had a salary account with HDFC for more than 3 years… initially started with HDFC Premium, this was in 2016, when HDFC diners had that unlimited 1+1 on BMS. Man that was legit… I remember we went for one movie wherein I booked tickets for 20 of my colleagues at the price for 10, and the best part, there was no limit to bookings. 😂
Now LTF’s are closed. Even after maintaining 50L in account, you don’t get LTF on Black Diners.
Oh… that’s bad… they might have lost a huge chunk of money doing the promotional activities.

At this point, best reward rate for flight redemption is by Axis Vistara visa Infinite! But it's only useful if your routes fall under vistara routes.
Magnus and reserve aren't worth after recent devaluation. Infinia is still good, but you need to showcase salary for it

How do we get a credit card if I have no credit score before? I’ve been getting messages about Hdfc Regalia card, but not sure if I should take it. I have a salary account with hdfc for reference.

Take this care, build history with credit card for 6 months and then apply for your desired bank variant...

When I was self employed, no bank wanted to give me a CC except my kotak bank account (which was my salary account before I quit)
They were offering me a CC with 15k as a limit. I took it and then used it to build my credit score. I got one more CC (onecard because it was easier to get). Now I only use HDFC and HSBC and ditched both of them once I had more stable cards. 15k nahi hai limit ab in case you are wondering :P

How can I get it LTF?
If you have very healthy relationship with HDFC bank for a long time(huge FDs, insurance upwards of 10 lakhs), you may get it for LTF provided they come to you with the offer.

Recently started using Fi's credit card (a friend pushed this a lot and I gave in to try). Honestly pretty impressed. Reward proposition was initially difficult to understand at first but seems vv useful once I used the card for a month
Have similar expenses as yours and here's why I took it
- 15% off on domestic flight on EMT !!
- You get 100% of your spends as Fi coins on top 3 brands, Fi coin value is 3p
- best part is you earn 20% spend as coins on rent too which is gold
- conversion option to Vistara points

Credit Cards make sense only if one can make every payment using the credit card, many shops in india don't accept cards payments.
So a UPI enabled credit card becomes important.

No, they haven't, I am still using it.
Maybe they've stopped taking new applications.

ICICI Amazon pay card and Tata neu infinity is what I'm using. Most of my expenses are online purchases or if I go out on weekends. The Amazon Card came with a 50k credit limit for me though, I'm not sure if this can be increased but if you're looking to make any significant purchases then you risk running your credit limit very close. Otherwise it's a good card since you'll be making Amazon purchases quite frequently I'm assuming.
ICICI Amazon Pay card's limit increases after a few years on continuous usage. Mine has increased to 1.1L but I got to know about it quite late. Keep checking the Manage Credit Limit section in the iMobile Pay app.

Get a swiggy hdfc credit card, nicely fits your your usage. In addition hdfc millenia/axis ace might help when you reach the upper limit of your cashback on swiggy card.

Assuming monthly spends less than 50k rupees,
I'd suggest go for a lower tier card like amex mrcc or sbi cashback, they're easy to utilise and you'll get good returns.
Annualy you can get 15-20k rupees cashback in sbi or
around 25000 amex points ( can be transferred to Marriott for hotel booking),
With the future of club vistara undefined under upcoming merger there's really no flight reward system worthwhile in India.
For flights, if you use Indigo frequently then Indigo HDFC CC or Indigo Kotak CC are quite good. You do have to book tickets via the Indigo website or app and I find the ticket prices on there are comparable to MMT, EMT, etc.
Have accrued nearly 5k worth of Indigo 6E Rewards which I can use for my next flight booking.
Purely flight redemptions? Axis Vistara or HDFC cards.
Otherwise, Amex trifecta! That's what you should be looking for your spend range
