24months bond period for experienced candidate

One of my friends, who is highly talented and an adept competitive programmer, recently received an offer from "Tech Mahindra" with a package of 3.25 LPA and a 2.5-year service bond. Given the current tough economic climate, should he accept this offer or wait and prepare for better opportunities? Additionally, if anyone can refer him to opportunities in their current company, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help and insights!

Hello grapevine folks. I am a 4th year student from tier 2 college and Yamaha Solutions is visiting our college for placement drive. They are offering 6 months internship (40k stipend) and 10 lpa package but it comes with a 2 year bond. If broken there will be 1lakh penalty. Should I consider this company? I have apprehension regarding bond.

The salary is hardly sufficient to lead a basic life too. I'm getting calls from Naukri for Java backend roles where I could see myself in the future. How do I handle notice period of 3 months if I get an offer and do I really have to pay them 1 lakh as penalty if I leave ?

My initial contract is ending this month, and now I have to decide whether to sign another bond to stay for another year. Here's the thing: I don't want to sign the bond. I feel like it's time to explore new opportunities, but I'm also worried about the job market. I currently don't have any offers on hand. For context, I'm working in Surat and I'm open to opportunities in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Coimbatore. My current CTC is 2.5 LPA, and if I stay, I'll get a bump to 3.8 LPA. Should I take the risk and start applying to new jobs, or should I play it safe and stick around for another year? How hard is it to get a job in those cities right now? Any advice or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
