EY India vs EY GDS

Hello, I’ve applied for multiple positions in EY. Now iam getting calls from EY india and EY GDS as well. i informed same to the hiring team. GDS team is telling to not to respond to EY india their benefits are less and GDS also claming the same. What is the difference, what are the benefits, which will be the best. I need to know.

In GDS you will probably have only backend kind of work. Basically 0 travelling and kind of 2 bosses over you, 1 will be your EY handler and the other- the Client. Not much to climb here. India will offer you more exposure and take you through the complete cycle and moreover you may also get on site opportunities. Completely depends on your preference but I would choose India

Don’t choose ey india, I’m not sure about gds much but Ey india is worse organisation you will find. They don’t even have a projects to provide you and internally they are firing people.

GDS is global delivery service unit of EY , which offers its services across the globe, while EY India mostly deals with Indian clients only. As someone rightly mentioned that in EY India you will have the client facing opportunity (Indian Clients), But if you are looking explore more global opportunities, you can choose EY GDS where EY onshore (eg: EY India, EY US, EY AU etc.) team will mostly face the clients, if you are good at what you do, then you will also have onsite as well as client facing opportunities (purely based on project needs).

Sounds like you’re pumped to work at EY. It’s good that you’ve applied for multiple roles at EY. But, consider your interests and skills that would suit their job descriptions. Since you’re getting calls from EY GDS and EY India, consider the pros and cons and make your choice between EY GDS vs EY India. EY GDS has offshore communities in different countries and EY India is a whole branch of EY in India. While EY India handles independent projects, EY GDS handles projects that are carried down by offshore teams. Project-wise if you think, EY India seems like a better offer.

Accenture vs EY GDS

Hi folks, I have got offer from both Accenture and EY GDS. I have accepted the offer from Accenture but haven't accepted the EY offer yet as they provided it last week. EY have just matched the Accenture offer that also with fixed compensation showing no exact ctc. I am a little confused if I should accept the offer from EY as well. Note - 1. Both have the same location. 2. same compensation 3. Both low balled me My tech stack is python having overall 6.2 yoe. I still have 2 months left for my notice period to end but confused on should I accept EY offer as well. Please suggest. Thanks 🙏

Hi viners, I recently gave interview for EY GDS and have cleared 2 rounds only hr round is remaining for that I got candidate sheet and I have to full and give but I want to know how much can I expect from them for 6 yoe. Also what about work culture there? I mean is there any chance I get development related project or more chance they will also provide support project only like tcs? If any one can please give any insight on this. PS - I m on notice period. This position is for Pune n I m from mumbai. I have more than 2 months for notice period to end.

Hi all, I got an offer from both kpmg global and EY India as an ariba consultant. I'm.not sure which one to consider! Both are offering same package. I'm not sure which one to join! Hey Viners, I also recently cleared all round with EY GDS and hr also confirmed that i have been selected, then she asked me my salary expectations. My expectation is reasonable and she said we can discuss on it. But there has been no communication after this, its been 2 weeks. Should i still expect anything on it from them. #EYGDS
