FOUNDER'S OFFICE INTERN

Hey everyone, heading into my first internship this summer, no other work experience and want to hear from full time employees on the lesser known things that secure the return offer. By this I mean things other than being able to adapt to work, ask questions, not making same mistake over and over - basically the things that aren't talked about but from your perspective really makes huge a difference in your opinion on the intern. I am a student at IITR now, looking for a PM internship. I love checking new products as a user and looking for the things that could make it more interesting. I am really stuck because I cannot find the opportunities. I check every LinkedIn, Glassdoor, well found openings but their turnout even after mailing and messaging HR is not good. I really want to put my skills out there in the corporate world and learn new things from professionals. I have not done any internship before and every company shortlisting seeks for previous internships. What would you suggest for my scenario on getting my very first PM internship? I have this time constraint thing for an onsite internship, I just have 2 months for an onsite intern before my college opens up again. Then after, I can definitely work remotely given the opportunity. I always put in all my hard work when a task is assigned to me. Please suggest how I should take things forward? And also, if you may know of any openings for a product management internship.. please let me know.

So I recently joined a early stage startup as a founders office product intern, Basic Insights My age - 25 Industry - XR Stipend - 20k Travel time - 2 hours up and down Location - Banglore I rqstd founder for hybrid work as I don't see my real-time need in the office, Founder is quite rigid on the office point and wants me to be present in office no matter what and also on some other things. I kind of see it as a red flag, what's would you suggest can this turn to a full time offering or just a internship and then ask me to leave the org. Note - not comprising on my work by any means.

Hi all, I am a mechanical engineering graduate with no experience. Looking to transition to product management. Completed Nptel certificate courses in product management. Please mentor /advise me about the mandatory requirements to get my first job in PM.

My background: 2024 grad, intern at an startup in Bengaluru, internship extended for 3 months recession is the reason told, no chance of fte. Now, getting an offer from a startup. Team of 15-16 people. Pre seed stage startup. Will be building product from scratch. Lots of learning. Offering decent hike and since i m part of first team...getting small equity too. Should I join this offer? I m confused. But also thinking...it is risky but a lot to learn and growth potential is v high. Tell what do u guys think??

I am a final year student and will be graduating in may and I am now confused because I have been doing internships now for more than a year, first internship was of 6 months as an backend developer and now second internship is still going on and this March 3 I will complete 8 months here as an ML Intern, and now my current company which is a startup has told that they will think about my PPO when they will raise series A in April may and they have hired many senior engineers and have expanded the than to size of 40 and now I have got an another intern position at an YC startup, so what should I do, should I join there as an intern considering the stipend is same which is ₹45k per month and it is also remote but the problem is I will be graduating and I don't have a full time offer, I do have skills but still not having an full time offer bugs me, what should I do please? give some advice.

I just joined a new internship (my first offline internship) at a big company and don't know what to do here... I am getting small tasks that I finish in half a day, not getting a big project and then I'm free for the rest of the office hours, don't know if I should ask for work or it would be allotted to me. I know it's silly but is this normal? And what should I do? I need clarity regarding corporate life, lmao!
