Never been in love
M29 / Never felt love ever in my entire life I’m a M/29 good looking , well educated and in a good paying job. All through my life I’ve never felt loved or been in a proper relationship. Ive been respected , valued but never really “loved “. Ive got a really good friends circle and good parents who love me but this is different . I’ve liked a couple of girls in the past , spoke to them for a while but never took off until a relationship level. I’m also not a person who would shoot a shot at every girl just to be in a relationship . Currently I feel really desperate to be loved . I love myself but there’s a constant desire to be loved by someone . sometimes even a small act of affection from opposite gender makes me wonder if it’s love . People would know constantly ask me why I’m single even after being a well qualified bachelor which hurts even more. Looking for some genuine advice how to get over this feeling or if this feeling is valid .
If I had a dollar for all sad and horny posts here, I would have enough money to pay back the loan on Twitter.

I can resonate with you.But it is better to be single rather than being with someone wrong. I'm 25F beautiful looking i always wanted to have someone in my life since my colleges days but never able to find one .if someone shown interest in me not because of my nature character only for beauty.
I want that any one who accept me for who I'm like kid and mature sometimes, want emotional establishment, understanding,care and real love. I want to nurture care and cook for him .
But in this time it very hard to find I'm feel so sorry for me . I don't even have Friends or any kind of girls group with whom I can talk or anything.
I live my life full of loneliness and even cry sometimes.
I feel sorry about me .

Man same for me but there are some differences with me, I have never tried initiating talks with anyone on the fear of being judged, also I don't come across as a naturally confident person and that I know and cannot change as well. I'm 25 M and yet to find experience what love is, have lost hope, but still believe if someday miracle can happen, but yeah feelings are mutual as you... not gonna suggest you anything because I can relate to you and in such situations we question our mind day in day out about what's happening in our life why this one aspect is not improving what's our fault , but we cannot force someone to love us, right, undeniably the most luck based thing to ever exist.
It's not your fault man and you deserve to be loved everyone deserves, especially if you are capable and mature enough to drive the bandwagon of a relationship, and this feeling hurts the most tbh. I just belive that if someone would be made for me no matter what but they will somehow enter my life and make my life a blessing, maybe you can also think like that. @SoggyBasil4 To be honest myself (25M) felt all the kind of shit everyone else goes through since we are humans, especially what @Bittergourd mentioned except the crying part because I tried so hard but i cannot cry seriously idk why..had back to back deaths this year and last year of family members did shed a single drop till now.
@Bittergourd @SoggyBasil4 Now the loneliness has transitioned to solitude for me personally and got used to it. Literally have 5 friends who i cannot meet since they are in abroad so technically no friends but slowly realized solitude is a boon and bane because at times it can be super boring like hell else I would work on something related to my career or physical fitness.
At some point of time I feel like what's the whole point and started focusing on making money and eventually FIRE.
I request all of you folks to watch Bladerunner 2049(huge fan of the director's movies and Ryan Gosling's work) movie because I feel in future we as human beings will be alone/solitude (depends on an individual coz they can feel loneliness or solitude but there's a huge difference between eachother)
In the movie the character will be all alone and lead his life so basically I am preparing my mental state for the worst case, so that I become numb if i have to live a life in solitude for many years.

Umm yes, these feelings are a part of human behaviour and we cannot force someone to love us. If someone would have been there for you they will enter your life, no matter what, just have trust. Different people have different choices and the one who will accept you will accept you as a whole. Be cheerful and wait for that time to come 🙂.

Go to therapy. What you're feeling is loneliness and shyness which is often confused with being an introvert. They aren't same. Just go to therapy.

Same. 24F. Exact words are spoken to me that you are good looking and earning way more than batchmates. At least in my case I got super career oriented during my college days that it was just my studies and internships. It paid off well with a gold medal from Teir 1 college and good package though.

I would say this scenario is luck based and a subjective thing mostly to be a healthy relationship with someone who can make your life complete. Hope you find. Good person soon. Not been in any relationship myself but this is what I have seen lately. And it should not be linked with academic and career success.
Gold medal is really tough though,congrats for that!!. Tier 1 again I had the opinion of kinda superiority complex earlier but not anymore, all those out there are equal irrespective of their college tier. I myself am from a Tier 1 college.
PS : i always wonder that we never get everything we want and are unhappy about those things which we still want and not happy about those which we have.
