Almost 4 months in gym

It's been 4 months now, going regularly almost 5-6 days a week. Training single muscle everyday from past 2 weeks along with deadlift every alternate days.

Bench press (flat, incline, dec)- 40kgs (8-10reps) Dumbell bench press - 15kg each (12-15 reps)

Deadlift - 50kg (8-10 reps) Leg press - 70kg (12-15reps) Chest press - 40kg (6-10reps)

So overall there's a slight increase in weights that I have been using which is nice. But the body weight isn't reducing much. I want to reach the 70kg which would be my ideal weight and I could still see a lot of fat that needs to be burned. But overall it's greattt. I am a bit irregular to cardio in gym but I walk almost an hour every day.

Comment down your progress below and any tips for reducing weight that have worked for you.

Hey same story, bench press 50 kgs age 22 height 5'7 it's been 2 months now i was 84 and i am 78.5 now, i am not too happy with the progress either , although what has helped me is i make sure i eat less fat and carbs only in one meal and I don't eat after 7 pm and then sleep at 1 am then i wake up at 9 am and then till 11 am I don't feel like having something and that is when i did intermittent without any effort, so most of the days i do this and see results the very next day that some weight has dropped, it's good you can try

Try eating protein in all your meals, having only carbs in a meal will make your body store those as fat and will affect your triglycerides.

Less carbs, less outside food, more protein, overall fewer calories help me way more than gym,

Bro i am a foodie as well, i travel miles just to have food of a famous spot, but the utter truth is society and people doesn't care how much you can lift or not, and if we don't go in calorie deficit nothing's gonna happen with our body, obviously we will get stronger but apperance wise it won't change a tad bit, and apparently the inferiority complex will trigger back, so when this hit me hard i switched to this process, but good for you slowly and steadily just keep moving forward

The simple trick is burn more than you eat. Weight lifting is for gaining strength and its good. But focus more on fat building and take advice from a good trainer by telling them your goals clearly

Is Social media setting unrealistic beauty standards?

Here’s some context. I have been hitting the gym on and off for like a year now. My body weight is 65kgs. I can bench press 60 kgs, can deadlift 120kgs. I can jog 5kms in roughly 30 mins. I am 21 years old. Though I know these are decent...
