Another layoff coming up at Dunzo🥲

75% employees is what I heard on 29th July. Unofficially good byes have started happening.

Shame on the founders to keep lying to their employees a week back. They painted the salary issue as minor hiccup and that they have met their goals. What frauds. Anyways the company was always supposed to go down this route as they had no business sense - burning money for everything from onboarding delivery partners to delivery fees to store costs. Lack of fiscal discipline all around. Such companies shouldn’t survive - unfortunately that would happen but the founders would have made their banks already on secondaries done till now.

Hope they get their severance packages (I mean salary).

I am getting a call for Head of design role at dunzo, looking at the post it looks like dead end.

Pretty crazy knowing dunzo was doing decently well as the third player but Zepto came in and took their market share and left them behind
