Mesa is good in the way that they don’t claim to be competing against IIM/ISB or dissing them. It’s more around being a much more hands on ISB, specifically for the startup ecosystem. Had attended their info session, one of the founders take them - team is not pushy so that’s good. Applications are invite only, can get invited to apply after attend only after understanding about program. Still early days but seem to have the fundamentals right - would recommend you attend Info Session and make the call for yourself :) What personally attracted me was the team and the founding cohort, seems to be really good quality.

Was considering and curious so had attended, after 1-1 with team they recommended against applying since I was already getting an offer from a tier-1 VC fund - they recommended i take that offer instead :)

Haven’t heard of this ever. beware of edtech companies in general. they have a tendency to push unsuspecting customers into purchasing courses. you have everything to lose for in this situation, always opt for top mba programs.

Mesa is good. Good founders and the right fundamentals in terms of building an education biz. However; these are early cohorts and you’d have to take a flyer on how things evolve

You could just start your own startup and become a startup leader lol. Much better use of money than paying someone to teach entrepreneurship.

I would repeat - If any functional knowledge program is without placement assistance, it might be too risky. There’s no precedence/history of these programs and it might not be perceived correctly by the employers. At the same time, startup leadership is very context driven. Don’t know how they will justify a cohort approach.

Should I join this company?

Hi grapeviners, I got laid off in November. Had no luck getting an offer since then untill now. Recently recieved and offer from this company x. Glassdoor reviews are shit. They could only match my salary. Work from office with strict timings 9.30am to 7pm. According to reviews CEO is a hitler v2. Worst part is they have 3 months notice period. Only seemingly intresting part about this company is its work. Again, not so sure about that. They’re intlo building AI, ML and IOT solutions for companies. Should I join this company and look for jobs or should I keep the offer and try for another one? TC: 25LPA YOE: 3y 3m

Need help guys

My background: 2024 grad, intern at an startup in Bengaluru, internship extended for 3 months recession is the reason told, no chance of fte. Now, getting an offer from a startup. Team of 15-16 people. Pre seed stage startup. Will be building product from scratch. Lots of learning. Offering decent hike and since i m part of first team...getting small equity too. Should I join this offer? I m confused. But also thinking...it is risky but a lot to learn and growth potential is v high. Tell what do u guys think??

Should I join zomato?

I passed out from a tier 1 college in 2023. I am working in a product based company right now and currently serving notice period. Got offer from Zomato with a good hike. Was very excited. But saw some posts about work culture at zomato and thus a but worried. I left my current company because of mainly bad work culture. My manager here is very toxic and thus I am leaving. I have no problem about occasional long working hours but worried about toxic work culture. Folks at zomato and others also, please help me out here.
