Hi friends!
I have recently started studying finance and economics, and would like to try my hand at giving CFA, if there’s someone who has already prepared for it could you please share important course material or a study plan to go about it?

My background:
- 2..5 yoe in software engineering 
- B.Tech CSE
- no formal education related to commerce subjects

I have started preparing for GMAT. Planned to opt for Target Test Prep, bought their trial course - it’s not video based and i’ll have to read up everything, honestly not what I was looking for. But, still open to suggestions/advices from those who had TTP.

Anything else apart from this? Can someone guide me pls.

I'm a chem engineer with MBA in Finance (Tier 2 cllg). While pursuing my MBA I had two priorities clear - 1. Dont want a sales role & 2. Don't want to join a tech company (not exactly good with tech stack). As luck would have it, I joined IBM few months ago in a sales role 🥲
Since then I have been thinking a lot about my future. I need some external advice as I am already biased against the sales role -
1. In a situation like mine, should one immediately switch profile if possible or get some experience in sales before trying to switch?
2. Is it even possible to make the switch if I spend a couple of years here?
3. How difficult it is to make the switch to finance roles (financial analyst or similar) without a CFA and solely on MBA finance? I'm prepping for CFA but will appear next year post April.

Changing into Finance Domain or Wait it Out?

anyone here giving actuary exams by IAI or have given any such exam in the past.
Have my exam for Financial Engineering and Loss Reserving CM2 (Paper B, Practical) this week, can anyone suggest what to study, haven't been able to prepare well.

Okay, so i haven't touched maths since the 10th grade and am planning to give my GMAT ,tbh am feeling a bit stupid but at the same time have no option but to at least give it a shot,  given the number of decent colleges that require it.

Pretty much what the title says; I'm looking for a good platform to attend live online classes for GMAT. I have checked out some like Jamboree, TIME etc. but got very mixed reviews. 

Let me know if any of them are worth it, and share your experience too if you can!

P.S.: Before anyone says “try self-study,” I have a lot on my plate and lack discipline smh. Classes give you a sense of accountability, plus you're paying a lot for that shit so you're immediately compelled to take it seriously lol

Asking for suggestions as to how i can prepare for google L4 interviews and any roadmaps that can help in the preparation. I've about 3-6 months to prepare.

Hey people,

I just started preparing for CAT'24. A bit about myself- Graduated last year, with an Engineering Degree, working as an Associate Product Manager (~1 yr).

I've started with IMS modules and solved a few previous year sectionals, not complete papers though. 

I take out time to study on weekends and on days I work from home. Could anyone suggest a strategy; as to what topics to target first, what modules/ mock series to purchase, if needed etc.
